When it comes to displaying an eye catching fall tablescape, there are several pointers that will make your life much easier. The great thing about having a fall tablescape is that it can save you money by being useful for transitioning from halloween into Thanksgiving!
Fall Foliage
Fall foliage will really help liven up the table and give off a fresh festive vibe! Using items such as leaves, straw, pinecones, and pumpkins are simple and colorful enough to bring in those fall colors from the outside to the inside.
Table Runners
Autumn may be the time that you decide to swap your traditional fabric table runner for something different . By using real or artificial foliage in its place, you can create the illusion of a table runner, but in a new and exciting way. Groupings of fall leaves, straw, cotton, etc. can create the idea of a table runner and incorporate fall colors and foliage!
Height
Another small attention to detail element is creating different heights with the accessories that you display on the table. Whether you are using tall candles paired with shorter plants and shorter candles, it helps create an aesthetically pleasing visual.
Plaid
When all other ideas fail to come to you, remember that you can always go with plaid. Plaid is a very fall element, whether it’s coming from shirts, picnic blankets, or my personal favorite, napkins on the plates. Choosing orange, brown, or cream colors contrast with the fall colors from the pumpkins and foliage used.
